Pride is een evenement dat geheel in het teken staat van het feit dat iedereen kan en mag zijn wie die is en dat iedereen mag houden van wie die wil houden. Helaas zijn er nog altijd veel landen waarin queers diezelfde vrijheid niet hebben. Overal ter wereld worden nog mensen aangevallen om wie ze zijn. Om hun geaardheid, hun seksualiteit of gender. Ook uit een aantal comments op onze vorige post over Pride blijkt maar weer waarom het protest dat Pride eigenlijk is, nog altijd hard nodig is.
